Getting away from climate issues for a moment, the following article reminds us once again that elections really matter to our personal lives and health.  Who sits on the benches of our courts directly determines the quality and nature of the air we breath and the water we drink and in which we play.

“The U.S. Supreme Court is set to settle a decades-long dispute…case (that) could have disastrous repercussions for  clean water across the United States.”

“If the Supreme Court sides with Maui County and overturns the Ninth Circuit’s ruling, it would allow industry to freely pollute U.S. waters as long as the pollution isn’t directly discharged into the water source.”

As if we didn’t have enough to worry about.! How do you think Gorsuch and Kavanaugh will vote???  And on top of this, the Trump Administration is attempting to roll back clean water rules along with every other environmental protection that we have spent decades putting in place.

There is soooo much at stake on November 3.
